Splashes are fun and expressive … they really allow the slow molten liquid nature of the clay to flow and be spontaneous as it naturally wants to be. But control the direction, and the inner patterns, and put arc motions into it, so there is a painterly approximation of the behavior of water and splashes. An artistic or impressionist interpretation, not a science accurate one. This is interpretive art, not stereo lithography, or 3d printer level machinist accuracy from a cad cam machine.
